With great strength and determination, Hercules freed Prometheus from his chains and put an end to his excruciating punishment. Jacob Jordaens masterfully captured this gripping mythological scene using oil on canvas. His attention to detail brings forth both the pain endured by Prometheus and the power of divine retribution.
