Dann wurde der Rennsport, mit dem Ziele der Voll- und Halbblutzucht, auch in Deutschland heimisch. Hamburg, Baden-Baden, Hoppegarten usw schufen Rennbahnen, wo internationale Rennen als gesellschaftliche Ereignisse stattfinden. Translation: Horse Race. Until the beginning of the 19th century, horse races, in which bets were made on whether the horses would win, were restricted to England (the so-called derby). Then racing, with the aim of breeding thoroughbreds and half-breeds, also became at home in Germany. Hamburg, Baden-Baden, Hoppegarten etc. created racecourses where international races take place as social events.
