This print showcases the esteemed Crimea Medal 1854-56, awarded to Private Thomas Connell of the 88th Regiment of Foot (Connaught Rangers). Crafted from metal and captured by the British School in the 19th century, this historical artifact is now housed at the National Army Museum in London. The medal itself holds great significance as it was sanctioned by Queen Victoria on December 15,1854.
